From MCT's Maritime Heritage to Atlassian Marine's Brazilian Operations
Atlassian Marine was established in Rio de Janeiro in 2024, building on the maritime expertise and international offshore experience of MCT. Founded in 2002, MCT expanded into Brazil in 2009, developing a strong presence in the country’s offshore support sector. Atlassian Marine was created to establish a dedicated Brazilian structure, combining this operational background with a local focus on the needs of Brazil’s offshore industry.
In 2025, Atlassian Marine obtained its Brazilian Shipping Company (EBN) authorization from ANTAQ, marking a significant milestone in its development. The company has since continued strengthening its operational structure, Integrated Management System and QHSE processes, with preparations for Petrobras’ PEOTRAM requirements underway in 2026. Its long-term objective is to further develop its role in supporting offshore vessel operations in Brazil.
